Age: 8-10 months+
A delicious recipe with salmon that your baby will love to eat!
- 2 carrots
- 60 g. salmon
- 20 ml of orange juice
- A handful grated cheese
- A dash of milk
Step 1 – Put the salmon into an oven dish and pour the orange juice on the salmon. Add the grated cheese on top of the salmon and put it into a preheated oven for 20 minutes (356°F or 180°C).
Step 2 – Meanwhile, peel the carrots and boil them for 10-20 minutes.
Step 3 – Add the carrots and fish to a blender and add a dash of milk. Blend until it becomes a smooth creme.
When can a baby eat carrots?
You can start introducing carrots into your baby’s diet at age 4-6 months as this is the time the baby is ready to start solid food.
It is important that your baby can sit up straight and keep his or her head up. If you are in doubt if your baby is ready for solid foods, consult a medical practitioner.
How to prepare carrots for baby food
You can choose to kook the carrots or steam them. This makes the carrots super sweet and soft, and easy to puree.
You can also use carrots raw. Grate the whole carrot into small strips, this makes it easier to puree.
